DONATING
There are a variety of ways you can donate to ELF.  You could make a donation today or you might like to make a regular donation to us.  These days, many people wish to recognise an important event by supporting a charity such as ELF. Also, if you are thinking about the future you might like to remember ELF in your will by making a legacy.  Finally, you could make a tax efficient donation to ELF by making a gift to ELF as part of the Payroll Giving scheme.

One off Donations
All donations are very important to us as without your support we could not continue to support work aimed at advancing the cure and treatment of blood cancers.  It does not matter how large or small you may think the donation is, all donations do make a difference.

Regular Donations
A regular gift can make a great deal of difference as it allows us to plan more effectively to support a grant application.  If you would like to make a regular donation by standing order please download the Standing Order Mandate.
Celebrating a Special Event
If you are celebrating a special event and already have everything you ever wished for, why not suggest that a gift to ELF would make your day.
In Memory
Sadly, each year, there will be some patients for whom the treatment is not successful. Increasingly, family and friends wish to mark the sad occasion by giving donations to a charity rather than sending flowers.  In this way, by making these gifts, work will continue to be made to advance the cure and treatment of blood cancers.
Legacies
Most of us do not like thinking about wills, much less making one.  But, when we do, we all think about those closest to us, our family.  A will is also a marvellous way of thinking of others and of the causes that are dear to our heart which we probably already support.  Leaving money in a will is relatively simple and an effective way to help continue the work needed to advance the cure and treatment of leukaemia.  Also, if you leave money to a charity in your will it is exempt of tax.  If you would like to leave a legacy to ELF, or would like more information about the Charity, please contact us.  If you have already made a will you can easily make changes to it.  But remember, when making or changing a will it is always advisable to seek legal advice.
Payroll Donations
Payroll Giving is a unique and efficient way for employees to give to charity by having their donation come straight from their gross pay before tax and are thus tax efficient.  If you are interested in making a donation by Payroll Giving speak to your Human Resources department.  If your company does not have a Payroll Giving scheme in place and if it employs under 500 staff they may be eligible for a Government cash incentive of up to £500 for setting up Payroll Giving.  There are a number of organisations that operate the Payroll Giving Scheme.
Gift Aid
And don’t forget, if you pay UK income tax or capital gains tax, you can Gift Aid your donation so that we can claim back the tax you have already paid on your donation.
