Elimination of

Leukaemia Fund

The Kernow Bikers

In September 2007, fellow biker and mate, Dave Hinchliffe (Rowley), lost his battle with leukaemia.  This prompted members of the Kernow Bikers to organise a bike ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats and back to raise funds for and awareness of the charity, ELF, which helped Dave through his illness.

On the 24 May 2008 Bo, Karen, Mark and Jane set off from Land’s End to ride the 2,000 miles to John O’Groats arriving back at Land’s End on the 1 June.  They undertook this ride on 3 bikes, one of which was a learner on a 125.  The route was on ‘A’ roads with no support vehicle. On the return journey they had a party at the Ace Café on the 31 May.

They are very grateful to all those who have donated to this endeavour and you can still make a contribution by clicking on the donate button below.
