WHAT ELF DOES
Each year ELF makes awards in the following categories.
PROJECT GRANTS are awarded to
- Clinicians for work that has an immediate or near future benefit to patients.
- Haematological wards and units to procure equipment, facilities and other items that will directly improve the care, support and treatment of patients.
- Help support conferences, workshops, support groups and similar activities.
FELLOWSHIPS enable clinicians, nurses, clinical scientists and related health professionals working in the UK to advance their knowledge of treatment of blood cancers.
PATIENT SUPPORT GRANTS to individuals who, as a result of their illness experience financial hardship.
